The Reethi Rah Resort is one of the most expensive resorts in the Maldives and well worth the investment. Here you will find peace, discretion and unrivalled quality. Many celebrities choose this place to relax undisturbed and enjoy the benefits of the resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journey: An experience that makes your holiday special<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Even the journey to the Reethi Rah Resort was unique. Flying with Emirates via Dubai to Mal\u00e9 offered the highest level of comfort and excellent service. Nevertheless, I now prefer direct flights from Frankfurt or Zurich, as they are often more convenient and take less time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An impressive arrival<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Reethi Rah Resort is located in the northern Mal\u00e9 Atoll of the Maldives, surrounded by turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. After landing in Mal\u00e9, our adventure began with an exclusive yacht trip to the island. The journey took about 45 minutes and offered a breathtaking first impression of the resort. The welcome was superbly organised and immediately conveyed a sense of luxury and appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beach villa: pure elegance and privacy<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our trip started in a spacious and extremely luxurious beach villa with its own pool. The outdoor area was designed with great attention to detail and offered complete privacy. I was particularly taken with the hammock in the outdoor area, which conveyed the right holiday flair and offered a perfect place to relax. The villa itself was unique in its furnishings and design, making it difficult to leave this wonderful retreat. Here you could really switch off and enjoy every moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The water villa: a dream over the turquoise blue water<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After a few days, we moved to a water villa. With direct access to the sea, a spacious terrace and a view of the spectacular sunset, this accommodation was a real highlight. Both villas had their own charm and it was difficult to say which one we liked better. However, if I had the opportunity to book the same beach villa with sunset next time, I would probably prefer this one. It just had this incredible flair that I particularly liked. The feeling of being surrounded by the sea and the undisturbed tranquillity still made the experience very special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Culinary highlights at the Reethi Rah Resort<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant Reethi: enjoyment in the morning and evening<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Normally, I don't eat breakfast, but at the Reethi Restaurant, I simply couldn't resist. The variety, the quality of the dishes, and the stunning setting made breakfast an absolute pleasure. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that nothing was missing. In the evening, the restaurant transformed into three different culinary experiences: Aqua, Fire, and Earth. Each offered a unique concept, meeting the highest standards of culinary excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant Fire: a treat for steak lovers<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Fire Restaurant was my favourite of the Reethi restaurants in the evening. Excellent steaks were served here, some of the best I have ever tasted. A special moment was the view of the full moon, which rounded off the romantic mood perfectly. The atmospheric ambience, combined with the attentive service and the marvellous view of the ocean, made every visit a dream come true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant Aqua: elegance and variety<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Aqua Restaurant impressed with its stylish atmosphere and exquisite selection of dishes. With a selection of the finest fish dishes and other refined specialities, the restaurant offered a culinary variety that was wonderfully complemented by the quiet elegance of the ambience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant Earth: Mediterranean delicacies<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Mediterranean cuisine awaited us at the Earth Restaurant, with fresh ingredients and creative recipes. The stylish ambience made eating here a pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant Fanditha: A touch of the Orient<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Fanditha Restaurant impressed with its extraordinary atmosphere and a selection of Middle Eastern dishes. The barefoot dining experience on the sand in particular contributed to the relaxed and exotic atmosphere. There is also a beautiful lounge, which is located directly on the ocean and offers an incredible view of the sunset - an absolutely magical moment. A fantastic barbecue is also regularly offered here, which, in combination with the backdrop, makes for an unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant Rabarbaro: Italian flavours<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Located by the pool, Rabarbari was the ideal place for a relaxed lunch. The Italian cuisine offered authentic dishes and excellent quality, making every bite a delight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant Botanica: Culinary delights in nature<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to visit the Botanica Restaurant. But the very idea of dining surrounded by lush nature made it a tantalising option that I definitely want to try on my next visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tapasake: Japanese flavours of the highest order<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tapasake was without doubt the most outstanding restaurant in the resort. The stylish atmosphere, combined with a marvellous view of the sunset, made it an unforgettable experience. The dishes, from sushi to sashimi and teppanyaki, were first class. The teppanyaki in particular was an absolute highlight - and privacy is a top priority here: You can use a teppanyaki grill all to yourself without having to share the experience with other guests. This exclusivity makes Tapasake an unforgettable moment of pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rah Bar: entertainment and elegance<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After dinner, we were often drawn to the resort bar. Here we danced, sang and celebrated. The atmosphere was lively and the dance floor offered plenty of space to enjoy the evenings. What was particularly impressive was that the entertainment programme was unbeatable, not only in the bar but also at the resort's festivities. Whether exclusive events, live performances or cultural highlights - the Reethi Rah knows how to create extraordinary experiences for its guests that go beyond the scope of a typical resort stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encounters with idols: unforgettable moments<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Reethi Rah Resort is not only known for its exclusivity, but also for the privacy it offers celebrities. I was incredibly lucky to meet my childhood idol Naomi Campbell. We exchanged a few words as our mums are both from Jamaica - a moment I will never forget. I also bumped into Pen\u00e9lope Cruz unexpectedly, which added to the magic of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sport and wellness: relaxation for body and soul<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The gym area at the resort was excellently equipped and left nothing to be desired. The highly qualified staff were particularly commendable - professional trainers ensured that the training was not only effective but also really fun. For tennis lovers, the resort also offers first-class tennis courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly designed sauna area in the spa is exceptionally large and has state-of-the-art equipment. It sets new standards in terms of relaxation and comfort. The combination of luxurious treatments and this unique wellness area makes a stay there a true oasis of relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our stay was over Easter and the General Manager Jan Tibaldi and his team created a feast that we will remember for a long time. The island was beautifully decorated and the activities for children were lovingly organised. The warmth and dedication of the whole team gave the party a special warmth and made it an event to remember for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respectful guests and looking forward to the reunion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the luxurious amenities and first-class cuisine, I particularly appreciated the pleasant atmosphere among the guests. Everyone was respectful and considerate, which made the stay even more relaxing. I am already looking forward to visiting this special place again and seeing the General Manager and his lovely fianc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A final highlight: Why the Reethi Rah Resort will never be forgotten<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Reethi Rah Resort is more than just a destination - it is a world of its own, where exclusivity, first-class service and an unrivalled ambience blend seamlessly. Every moment, be it the enjoyment of an exquisite dinner, the magic of a full moon evening or the moments of relaxation in absolute privacy, is deeply memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what makes this place really special is the way it spoke to me not just as a guest, but as an individual. The combination of luxury with a personal touch, the encounters with inspiring people and the memories of the warmest hospitality have enriched my time there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I leave Reethi Rah with a feeling of gratitude and anticipation - because one thing is certain: this island is calling me to return, and I will gladly answer that call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
