The drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport takes just 15\u201320 minutes, and even along the way, you realize: you\u2019re heading into a truly special world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-der-traum-von-bali-und-wie-ich-auf-ayana-villas-gestossen-bin\"><strong>The Dream of Bali \u2013 and How I Discovered AYANA Villas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Bali had been on my travel wish list for a long time. So it was all the more important for me to find the perfect place to stay \u2013 somewhere that offered more than just a beautiful hotel room. I was looking for privacy, peace and quiet, culinary variety \u2013 and a certain level of comfort that would make the stay truly special. After weeks of research, I came across AYANA Villas \u2013 and was instantly impressed: 90 hectares of tropical gardens, over 30 restaurants and bars, a spa that promises total relaxation \u2013 and a special level of service exclusively for villa guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-unsere-reise-ins-paradies\"><strong>Our Journey to Paradise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">We flew with Qatar Airways from D\u00fcsseldorf to Doha, and from there continued on to Denpasar in Bali. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the AYANA team. A driver took us directly to a private reception area \u2013 exclusively for villa guests. There, we were offered a fresh coconut and had time to settle in peacefully. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse: tropical fruits, freshly squeezed juices, international specialties, warm Balinese dishes, pastries, pancakes, \u00e0 la carte egg dishes \u2013 all beautifully presented and served with the kind of attentive service that leaves nothing to be desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In the evening, this area transforms into the elegant DAVA Steak &amp; Seafood Restaurant, where we enjoyed a truly wonderful experience with a romantic atmosphere, atmospheric live music, and even the chance to request songs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-unser-erster-eindruck-villa-moment-mit-wow-effekt\"><strong>Our First Impression: A Villa Moment with Wow Effect<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">After breakfast, our personal butler took us to our villa by golf cart \u2013 an exclusive service available only to villa guests at AYANA Resort. The bathroom \u2013 an absolute highlight \u2013 featured a huge bathtub with a direct view of the ocean, beautifully accented by artfully arranged flower petals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Bali<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Monkeys hold a special place in Balinese culture. They are considered sacred animals and are closely associated with the Hindu god Hanuman. At AYANA Resort, they are a natural part of everyday life \u2013 after all, they\u2019ve been living here far longer than we have. This is their natural habitat, and as guests, we are merely sharing it with them. All the more reason to treat them with respect and remember that we are only visitors. And sure enough, my German chips must have been too tempting. In a brief moment of distraction, they were gone \u2013 and the monkey happily retreated with his prize. I have great respect for these animals and was truly impressed by how naturally they live here. This resort isn\u2019t just a paradise for us humans \u2013 it\u2019s theirs, too.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kulinarische-highlights-essen-trinken-geniessen\"><strong>Culinary Highlights \u2013 A Taste of AYANA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">As a villa guest at AYANA, you're in for a true culinary treat \u2013 spread across an expansive 90 hectares. The selection of restaurants is impressive, each with its own unique charm and character. We didn\u2019t make it to all of them \u2013 some were so good, we simply had to go back. We sat outside, overlooking the romantically lit River Pool \u2013 the starry sky above us, and a menu in front of us that left nothing to be desired. There was live music on several evenings, which made the atmosphere even more special. The beach is reserved exclusively for AYANA guests. Built into the rocks, located directly on the water - and with a view that makes every sunset something special. As villa guests, we had preferential access and were able to secure the best spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">But what makes the Rock Bar really unique is the atmosphere: a DJ plays regularly and creates a relaxed atmosphere with music that fits in perfectly with the surroundings. The mixture of the sound of the waves, the sunset, great cocktails and subtle beats is hard to put into words - you have to experience it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">No wonder that the <a href=\"https:\/\/hotelandfoodlover.com\/en\/rock-bar-bali\/\">Rock Bar<\/a> officially one of the best hotel bars in the world. Located right by the coast, with views of the ocean and the sky glowing in the most beautiful colors as the sun slowly set. The scent of freshly grilled fish hung in the air, accompanied by the soothing sound of the waves in the background \u2013 and a wonderfully attentive team that always took care of our every wish. While the focus is on seafood, they also served fantastic steaks \u2013 perfectly cooked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The chef fulfilled every extra wish we had \u2013 with such kindness and a genuine passion for what he does. It was obvious at first glance: this is someone who truly loves what he does. The location, with its view of the ocean, was stunning, and the dishes were solid \u2013 even if not every preparation matched my personal taste. We had the entire teppanyaki area to ourselves \u2013 and the menu was lovingly prepared just for us as a honeymoon couple. On another evening, we were even given a private dining space \u2013 once again as a thoughtful gesture in honor of our honeymoon. In addition to the live cooking experience, Honzen also offers a separate \u00e0 la carte menu with a variety of Japanese specialties.
