Right on the water in Immenstaad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For me, the Heinzler Seeterrasse in Immenstaad on Lake Constance is one of those special restaurants where you can simply take a deep breath and enjoy. Located directly on the lake with an unobstructed view of the water, every meal here feels a bit like a holiday - regardless of whether you are there for the first time or a regular visitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perfect for a relaxed lunch<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I especially love coming here for lunch on weekends. The atmosphere on the terrace is just perfect \u2013 calm, yet full of life. The gentle clinking of cutlery, a glass of ros\u00e9 on the table, and that sparkling lake view... When the sun is out and there\u2019s a light breeze, it\u2019s hard to imagine a better place to enjoy a midday meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The menu is well thought out and wonderfully varied, featuring seasonal dishes prepared fresh. From crisp salads and delicate fish to lovingly crafted desserts \u2013 there\u2019s truly something for everyone. What I especially like: the kitchen strikes a perfect balance between down-to-earth and something a little special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arriving by boat? No problem \u2013 there\u2019s a shuttle!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In principle, there are a few possibilities to moor your boat directly at Heinzler - but depending on the water level, as has been the case in recent weeks, this is sometimes not possible at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, there is a great solution: right next door, the\u00a0Boat hire Seew\u00e4rts<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0offers a shuttle service. Frank and his wife Petra, who I have known for a few years, pick up guests by boat for a fee and take them comfortably to the shore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seew\u00e4rts is only a few steps downhill from the terrace. I often stop by for a drink there myself.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A place to breathe \u2013 and always worth coming back to<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What makes Heinzler special to me isn\u2019t just the excellent food or the warm service \u2013 it\u2019s that certain atmosphere right by the water. Lake Constance lies calm and wide, almost majestic, and with its sparkle and stillness, it gives you a moment to pause and just take it all in.\nI love being here \u2013 simply because it always feels right, and I enjoy every moment to the fullest. And if you're up for it, you can even take a dip in the lake before or after your meal. Absolutely lovely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My summer tip for anyone visiting Lake Constance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In summer, I come here regularly \u2013 whenever the weather allows. Whether with my husband or with friends: the Heinzler terrace is the kind of place where I can truly slow down. Great food, wide-open lake views, and an atmosphere that just feels good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you're visiting the Lake Constance area, this is definitely a place worth knowing about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And one of these days, I\u2019ll also try out the hotel next door \u2013 I\u2019m curious and will definitely share my experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Thoughts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re planning a trip to Lake Constance, make sure to include Heinzler\u2019s lakeside terrace on your list. The combination of great food, stunning views, and a laid-back vibe is hard to beat.\nI\u2019d highly recommend booking a table in advance \u2013 the restaurant is very popular and fills up quickly on sunny days.\nIt\u2019s the kind of place where you can sit back, take in the view, and let your thoughts drift \u2013 if only for a little while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
