The Rotisserie Pferdehof restaurant in Bodman-Ludwigshafen is my favorite restaurant in the world because I've had so many wonderful moments there.
With my husband, I always experience incredibly beautiful, romantic evenings here. Nicole, Manfred, and Nicolas are amazing and warm hosts, and the entire team is always so accommodating. I have the utmost respect for Nicole and Manfred, who give the restaurant its special touch in their age and run it with so much passion and love. They are such wonderful and kind people.
Nicolas also works his magic in the kitchen, offering the best of the best and always seasonal dishes. Occasionally, you get the pleasure of hearing Nicolas sing, accompanied by the piano. It is something very special to dine there.
From the moment you step onto the property, in the romantic courtyard, you feel immediately comfortable. The dining room is rustic, romantic, and cozy, always decorated with fresh flowers and candles on the tables. I have been coming to this restaurant regularly since I was 16 years old, and I am always newly impressed. I can only recommend this unique and special restaurant to everyone who visits or lives near Lake Constance, and I suggest calling ahead, as it is often fully booked. In the summer, the courtyard is a particularly lovely place to sit.
I sincerely hope that these dear people have the strength to run this wonderful restaurant for a long time to come, because for me, it is the best restaurant in the world.
