In this idyllic setting, you’ll also find the charming Restaurant Adlisberg, which preserves the spirit of the past and offers its guests a truly unique experience.
Traditional Hospitality at the Restaurant Adlisberg
The Restaurant Adlisberg immediately impresses with its rustic coziness and warm service. The backdrop, characterized by traditional alpine charm, creates a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to enjoy the moment. In summer, it’s a true pleasure to sit outside and take in the fresh air and the beautiful surroundings. During asparagus season, sitting outside and savoring fresh asparagus is an absolute highlight for me – this is true joy for the soul.
In addition to the outdoor seating, Restaurant Adlisberg also offers a variety of cozy indoor spaces that are perfect for any occasion or mood. My absolute favorite is the Kaminstube. This room is so warm, romantic, and inviting that I want to visit it time and time again.
For years, I’ve ordered almost the same thing because it’s simply my favorite: the “hot stone” with tender beef fillet, served with Hörnli (Swiss pasta), vegetables, and, of course, plenty of garlic. Paired with a Nüsslisalat (lamb's lettuce salad) or, depending on the season, a mixed salad, this combination is a highlight every single time.

There’s hardly anything more beautiful than sitting in the Kaminstube while snow falls gently outside. A stunning tiled stove enhances the coziness, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The sizzling meat on the hot stone fills the room with its delicious aroma, and a good glass of red wine perfectly rounds off the experience. When my husband or the whole family joins me, this is the epitome of quality time. These moments of eating, laughing, and enjoying the special atmosphere together are simply priceless.

Even though the “hot stone” is my all-time favorite, I occasionally sample dishes from my children’s plates. The Restaurant Adlisberg menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, including traditional classics like Zürcher Geschnetzeltes (Zurich-style sliced veal), which each impress in their own way. Especially in the colder months, the Kaminstube is the perfect spot for a cozy evening with the family.

The Restaurant Adlisberg also features the Kuhstall, another inviting space that reflects traditional Swiss coziness. While I prefer the Kaminstube, the Kuhstall is also a fantastic option, particularly for larger groups or special occasions. Both spaces complement each other perfectly, making the Restaurant Adlisberg a versatile and delightful experience.
